1. Early Life
Greene was born, Travis Montorius Greene, on January 17, 1984, in Delaware, to his mother, Charleather Greene. Greene was originally a still-born but was resuscitated. A few years later, at the age of four, he was resuscitated after a four-storied building fall, while he was in Germany.
Travis has two sisters named Kim and Shalonda.
2. Family
Pastor Travis is married to Dr. Jacqueline ‘Jackie’ Gamfi Greene, who also happens to be his co-pastor at the Forward City Church. They met while Jackie was still a first-year student at Georgia Southern University. This was way back in 2007, and he had recently graduated from the institution. By then, he still made regular visits meant for supporting the campus ministry. The two finally made their marriage official in 2011. And as they say, the rest is history.
Travis and Jackie have been blessed with three sons together. David Jace Greene is the eldest one and was born in 2014. The second son is called Travis Joshua. Their third child, Judah, was born in April 2019.
3. Ministry
Travis Greene is an evangelist and gospel musician with a massive following. He is the pastor of the Forward City Church, located in Columbia, South Carolina and with a heavy online presence. His great music has received mass airplay and earned him several accolades. He has appeared in the Top Gospel Songs charts, featured on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums, and has also earned several awards.
Greene’s music recording started in 2007, with the release, The More, that came out on December 4, 2007, from Greenelight Records.
