On our weekly profile today we focus on Bethel Music.

Bethel Music is a contemporary Christian worship music collective and record label from Redding, California. Founded in 2001 by Brian and Jenn Johnson, Bethel Music has grown from a local church music ministry to a global outreach with a roster of over 30 songwriters and artists.

Bethel Music’s music is known for its fresh, innovative melodies and powerful lyrics that focus on the themes of worship, intimacy with God, and revival. The collective has released over 20 albums, many of which have topped the Billboard Christian charts. Some of Bethel Music’s most popular songs include “Good Good Father,” “Oceans (Where Feet May Fail),” “This Is Amazing Grace,” and “How He Loves.”

In addition to their music, Bethel Music is also involved in a number of other ministries, including Bethel Church, Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry, and Bethel Media. The collective is passionate about helping people to experience the presence of God and to live out their full potential in Christ.

Here is a brief timeline of Bethel Music’s history:

• 2001: Brian and Jenn Johnson begin leading worship at Bethel Church in Redding, California.
• 2009: Bethel Music releases its first live album, Here Is Love.
• 2011: Bethel Music releases its breakthrough album, Be Lifted High.
• 2013: Bethel Music launches its own record label.
• 2014: Bethel Music’s song “Good Good Father” becomes a global hit.
• 2015: Bethel Music launches its Artist Collective, expanding its roster to include artists from outside of Bethel Church.
• 2016: Bethel Music releases its album Have It All, which features the song “Oceans (Where Feet May Fail).”
• 2018: Bethel Music releases its album Victory, which features the song “This Is Amazing Grace.”
• 2020: Bethel Music releases its album Bethel Church Live (Vol. 12), which features the song “How He Loves.”
