Kirk Franklin’s Biological Father Passes Away Weeks After Reunion

Dwight Allen Barely the biological father Kirk Franklin has passed just weeks after the gospel star was able to reconnect with him. Dwight Allen died on Monday of a terminal illness at the age of 66.

Barely a month ago Kirk wrote on his Social media that he had decided to forgive his ailing biological father who had less than 6 months to live.

Kirk encouraged anyone who has a hard time forgiving anyone to do it though it’s painful because both of the participants need grace from God.
