Get to Know Ada Ehi

Ehi was born in Lagos, Nigeria, and is a graduate of Lagos State University, where she studied Chemical and Polymer Engineering. During her university days, she actively participated in the Believers Loveworld Campus Fellowship. Shortly, she joined the Christ Embassy Choir and since then, she has been active in the church choir.

In 2009, Ehi released her debut album, Undenied. The album was met with critical acclaim and won her several awards, including the Crystal Award for Best Gospel Artist at the 2010 Nigeria Entertainment Awards. She has since released five more studio albums: Lifted and So Fly (2013), Future Now (2017), Ada’s EP Vol. 1 (2019), and Born of God (2020).

Ehi is known for her powerful vocals, energetic live performances, and her ability to write songs that are both uplifting and inspiring. Her music has been enjoyed by people of all ages and from all walks of life. She has won numerous awards for her music, including the Groove Award for Western Africa Artist of the Year in 2017 and the African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) for Best Female Gospel Artist in Africa in 2019.

In addition to her music career, Ehi is also a philanthropist and a motivational speaker. She is the founder of the Ada Ehi Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides support to orphans, widows, and the less privileged in society. She is also a passionate advocate for youth empowerment and women’s rights.
