7 faith-based movies to watch this Christmas holiday season

The Christmas holiday is here, and many are looking for Christmas movies to watch with their families.

The following are seven Christian movies that we recommend watching this holiday season.

‘Farmer and The Belle’ – Theaters and Streaming

The family Christmas comedy movie was released on DVD in November 2020 but received a theatrical release this holiday season. Upon its release, the film spent six weeks on Amazon under “Best Sellers in Romance” for new releases. The faith-based film stayed in the top 10 for six weeks.

 “American Underdog” – Theaters 

The inspiring true story of retired NFL quarterback Kurt Warner is the first faith and family Lionsgate film to earn a coveted Christmas Day release — indicating God is “opening doors” in film, director Andy Erwin said.

‘Kirk Franklin’s a Gospel Christmas’ – Streaming 

Kirk Franklin’s recently produced “first-ever,” Christmas gospel film tells the “Incredible story of amazing grace.” and aired Dec. 4 on Lifetime and it is said to be the first-ever gospel Christmas film.

 ‘Christmas with The Chosen: The Messengers’ – Theaters

“The Chosen” is the history-making, first-ever, multi-season television show about Jesus. Now, the Christmas special has broken another record by becoming the bestselling movie

‘The Girl Who Believes In Miracles’

The Kendrick Brothers have a double-feature release this Christmas with  “Show Me the Father” and “Courageous Legacy.”
