Winning the War on Rage – Ben Peterson
Written by G Njuguna on September 12, 2023
Today we learn how Ben Peterson overcame hopelessness and found purpose on his war of winning the war on rage.
In some ways, Ben Peterson has always been in combat. He grew up in an abusive home and faced bullying at school. Anger and rage ensued, producing a desire in him to fight back. After serving as an assistant chaplain in the Army and battling PTSD, Ben found himself in a destructive cycle – and considered ending his life. Watch his story to see how he discovered a new sense of purpose.
But Ben’s story doesn’t end there. God gave him the vision to honor Vietnam veterans who never received the tribute they deserved after returning home from the war. That vision has culminated in the Heroes Honor Festival, a celebration happening on Memorial Day weekend 2022 at Daytona International Speedway.
