The Musical Journey of Leanna Crawford: A Story of Faith, Talent, and Success

Leanna Crawford, born on June 13, 1995, is an American contemporary Christian music singer-songwriter signed to Provident Label Group. She hails from northwestern Washington and was homeschooled by her mother, a former teacher. Leanna, along with her two sisters and brother, obtained her music business degree from Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington.

In 2012, during a mission retreat, Leanna felt a divine calling towards music ministry after hearing God’s voice. A year later, she won Praise106.5’s Music Search with her song “Moment by Moment”, produced by Ed Cash, a Dove Award-winning producer.

Leanna got engaged to Cody Zeller in June 2022 and tied the knot a year later in Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center on August 26, 2023. The couple now resides in Nashville. Upon moving to Nashville, Leanna became the first female artist signed to Story House Collective’s roster by Grammy-nominated and Dove Award winner Matthew West. She has shared the stage with renowned artists like Michael W. Smith, Matthew West, Jeremy Camp, and more.

In 2018, Leanna released her six-song EP titled “Crazy Beautiful You” and a two-track Christmas single. She signed with Provident Label Group/Story House Music in October 2019. Her EP, released in May 2020, featured the radio single “Funeral”, followed by “Truth I’m Standing On” and “Mean Girls”, both making waves on the Billboard Christian Airplay chart.

Leanna’s talent and dedication earned her a nomination for Female Artist of the Year at the 2021 K-LOVE Fan Awards, solidifying her presence in the contemporary Christian music scene.
