All Saints’ Cathedral celebrated a century of its existence a few years back and their focus was drawn to the ministry of Children and Teenagers on whom the next hundred years would be anchored. At beginning of this year 2021 which marks the beginning of the 3rd decade of the 21st Century, the Cathedral’s leadership symbolically sought to champion a national discourse around the Christian nurture and spiritual formation of children and teenagers dubbed STEP4JESUS (S4J). The initiative would be spearheaded by 21 people spread across the Cathedral’s and indeed the country’s demographic.
Inspired by theme this year ARISE AND CLAIM YOUR MOUNTAIN in Joshua 14, the STEP4JESUS targets to have the 21 champions scale Mt Kenya between the 12th and 17th of October 2021, each having raised Kshs 1million towards the Children and Teens Center (CTC).
The success of the S4J initiative will be actualized if the body of Christ in Kenya would mobilize Pray, Promote, Participate and raise Pesa towards the establishment of a Children and Teens Center’s (CTC). The Center is envisioned to build the capacity of the church to effectively disciple children in the 21st Century and reach A billion Children for Christ.
