Mandisa & Reddick Keeping Hope Alive

Written by on August 4, 2020

Grammy-winner Mandisa and worship pastor and songwriter, Jon Reddick are keeping hope alive in hard times with her latest single, called “You Keep Hope Alive.”

The upbeat worship anthem offers praise up to a God who resurrects hope in the midst of hardship. The cover art and official lyric video for the song both feature a custom watercolor of a cotton candy sky stretching out to the horizon at sunrise, hovering just above a lush tree line. As is his custom with his own single releases, Reddick hand-painted the artwork.

“With everything happening in our world today, the timely message of ‘You Keep Hope Alive’ is a declaration to our souls that God is still on His throne and specializes in bringing beauty from ashes,” Mandisa says. “My prayer is that God will use this song to remind us, His children, that our hope is alive because our Savior, Jesus, is alive.”

“You Keep Hope Alive” follows Mandisa’s version of “Way Maker,” which the songstress released earlier this year, hinting at a full slate of new music coming soon.
